Month in Review: December 2015 // Where I barely read, had to force myself to blog, but the holidays were amazing & and I saw Sam Smith! (Plus TBTB Secret Santa came!)

So this is my first post of 2016! Hello 2016! I already know you’re going to be an amazing year!

Yes I know it’s the third of December and this recap post is now late – I’m just in that kind of mood lately! WHY?! All through December it was a struggle to make myself pick up a book or sit down and write a blog post! But new year, so NO MORE SLACKING!

December is the month of holidays though, and here in Australia we’re it’s summer, I gotta say it’s my favourite time of the year! I had an AMAZING Christmas! I got bookishly spoilt (you can see here) and ATE SO MUCH FOOD! (YASSSS!!) New Year’s Eve was actually so much fun! Usually I get pretty disappointed with NYE because we build it up so much in our heads but this year it was a blast! (I was going to write this post on New Years Day but I was not in a functioning mood LOL!) I’ve also been spending a lot of time at the beach, it’s been glorious!

Also at the start of December me and my sister’s went and saw Sam Smith!! I have an endless love for Sam and his music and it was everything I’d hoped it to be! We got to the venue HOURS early so that we’d be one of the first in and get to stand up the front (which totally paid of btw) and Sam went out and said hey to us all, since we were waiting all day! I WAS LESS THAN A METRE AWAY FROM HIM! It may be the Best Day Ever!

  1. I didn’t read too much in December either. The holidays definitely took over more than reading. I was distracted by all the Christmas things and Christmas movies lol. Those gifts from Angel are so awesome! πŸ™‚ love the wrapping too.

      1. I am usually really good at keeping up with the blogging (reading and commenting), but since Christmas I started to get so behind. I currently right now have 45 blog posts opened on my browser to read! haha. Do you have Twitter or Instagram?

      2. I made a bookstagram account, but then didn’t really use it much. Not sure if I will use it again or not. I just post book pictures on my main account along with everything else. Easier to handle one Instagram account lol.
