Fall Time Cozy Book Tag – In Spring!

PBTW I totally stole that header image ^ off google, I have no clue who the original maker was, but it certainly isn’t mine.

PHeya everyone! I was tagged by Joey @ Thoughts and Afterthoughts and Prima @ Panda Hearts Books to do the Fall Time Cozy book tag! (YAY thanks!). If you don’t already follow these two go do that straight away! Even though, here in Australia it’s Spring, I’m totally down to think about cozy autumn weather!

Crunching Leaves: The world is full of colour. Choose a book that has reds, oranges and yellows on the cover.

The first book that popped into my head was Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I just read this the other day and it is literally brilliant! Everyone should go read it straight away!! You can read my thoughts here!

Cozy Sweater: It’s finally cold enough to don warm cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?23492282 (1)

Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry is a new book I read for the first time the other week and it definitely gave me the warm and fuzzies! Such a heartwarming romance 🙂 You can read my thoughts here!

Fall Storm: The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favourite book OR genre that you like to read on a stormy day.

15711341 (4)So a series I love rereading before every new release is The Others by Anne Bishop. These books are usually set during winter so the characters are all bundled up and I feel all warm and toastie alone side them! You can read my thoughts on Written in Red (here), Murder of Crows (here) and Vision in Silver (here).

P.S Only like 3 months until Marked in Flesh YAYAYAY *cross fingers* Hopes it’s a fast three months!
P.P.S Not a lot of people in the blogesphere read this series because it’s adult fantasy/paranormal BUT YOU SHOULD BECAUSE IT’S BRILLIANT

Cool Crisp Air: Who’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?

This answer should really not come to a shock to anyone who’s been around my little corner of the internet before… if I could trade places with a fictional character, without a doubt it would be Calaena Sardothien / Aelin Galathynius from the Throne of Glass series. She is life goals! You can read my thoughts on The Assassin’s Blade (here), Throne of Glass (here), Crown of Midnight (here), Heir of Fire (here) and Queen of Shadows (here). All five reviews contain unrestrained fan girling for Celaena!

Hot Apple Cider: What under hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?

17331819 (5)

I LOVE this book! It is honestly one of my favourite books from this year, but I feel like I can never say that because people HATE this book. I wish more people would go into this book without having read all the negative reviews first. I feel people are just review this book the way they think they’re suppose to feel towards it, instead of reviewing their personal experience reading it. You can read my thoughts on Reawakened here!

Coat, Scarves and Mittens: The weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up. What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?

18761654 (1)

Usually I only buy NA books as ebooks because the covers are just to embarrassing to take in public, but I do own Lick (Stage Dive #1) by Kylie Scott in paperback, but it has never seen the outside world. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO PUT HALF NAKED MEN ON ALL NA COVERS??? You can’t take it in public because judgmental people jump to the conclusion your reading smut on the train. (Let’s not lie, 95% of all NA is smutish but THAT’S NOT THE POINT!) You can read my thoughts on Lick here!

Pumpkin Spice: What’s your favourite fall time comfort food/foods?

Something I always rather eat in the colder months then spring and summer is soup and a toasted sandwhich. A pairing made by the gods!!

I nominate everybody! If you have yet to do this tag and am in the mood, GO FOR IT!
