So I was like super excited for this weeks theme, but THEN… I didn’t make it to ten! I thought about just putting debut authors in who’s book I’ve read but didn’t really care for but I figured I’d do the last four as debut authors who’s books I know I NEED to read!
Debut Authors Who’s Sophomore Books I NEED RIGHT NOW
Cause I only started using Goodreads again at the end of last year (before that I hadn’t touched it in 234832 years) all my debut authors ended up being from this year! Also, totally weird for me, but pretty much every debut author I read and really enjoyed this year was a contemporary and not fantasy or dystopia.
Francesca Zappia – Debut novel Made You Up – This may be one of my favourite books of this entire year, it was amazing and now I NEED EVERYTHING FRANCESCA WRITES!
Becky Albertalli – Debut novel Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda – I was so late to this party but this book is litterally fantastic and I’m definitly going to be reading anything Becky publishes in the future!
Victoria Aveyard – Debut novel Red Queen – Okay I straight up loved this book! I know there’s been a novella published but I’m not counting it for this list!

Marci Lyn Curtis – Debut novel The One Thing – I just read this the other week and LOVED it! It’s seriously brilliant! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you should definitely get around to it!
Stephanie Tromly – Debut novel Trouble is a Friend of Mine – This book was so much fun to read and I’m hoping everything Stephanie publishes in the future will be equally as fun and ridiculous! (But first she needs to announce that she’s writing the sequel to Trouble is a Friend of Mine because that book needs a sequel!)
Nicole Yoon – Debut novel Everything, Everything – I WANT MORE NICOLE YOON AND HER HUSBAND!! Her clever, sweet writing and characters and his awesome illustrations! YES PLEASE!

Debut Author’s Who’s Book I Need To Read Right NOW!!
So here are four books I’ve had my eye on since way before they were published and I still haven’t read yet!
Sabaa Tahir – Debut novel An Ember In The Ashes – I want to know why everyone loves this book so much!!! I want to be a fangirl for a new fantasy series! I will read this one SOON!!
Jasmine Warga – Debut novel My Heart and Other Black Holes – I remember like being eager for this books release like LAST YEAR! and then the release came and I just never brought it!! Maybe I’ll ask for it for Christmas!
I. W. Gregorio – Debut novel None of the Above – Same as above, I was eager for this book last year and still didn’t pick it up! I want it so bad!
Willa Strayhorn – Debut novel The Way We Bared Our Souls – I have been eyeing this book since JANUARY! I love the cover, I love the blurb, I’m almost positive I’ll love the story!

Who are your favourite debut authors? Are any of ours the same? Is there any debut books you think I NEED TO READ NOW!?

Great list. You have a few books on here that I have read and enjoyed myself. I think I am also going to have to add a few of these to my Christmas wishlist, it looks like I have missed out on some great debuts recently. I am especially excited to read Simon VS the Homo Sapiens Agenda, I have heard so many good things about that one. Here’s my TTT.

I had to edit mine down because it was literally ridiculously long and I wanted to make sure I actually got the books I REALLY wanted and not just some book which piqued my interest.
