HOW IS IT NOVEMBER ALREADY?????????? I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS!
October was a pretty unchill month, and I suspect November will be the same way, I had my end of semester assignments all due one on top of the other, and now I have exams to study for. Because I’m a level 10 procrastinator (level 10 is the highest level you can reach) I’m actually not currently studying like the fiend I should be and instead binge watching That’s 70s Show. I turned it on one day as just something to have in the background and now I’ve pretty much been doing nothing else except watch it for the past 10ish days.
ONTO THE BOOKS!
I barely read at all this month!!!!! It’s so upsetting!!! I only read 6 books this month! SIX!! I’m not impressed with myself AT ALL! But I gotta say, I may have only read six books this month but majority of these books were brilliant! So there’s that!
The Gray Wolf Throne (Seven Realms #3) by Cinda Williams Chima – This series is getting so bloody good!! What these two characters have grown into is amazing! I can’t wait to read the last one! (REVIEW)
Cress (The Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer – THIS BOOK. THIS SERIES. Why did I wait so long to read this series?? I do. not. know! I love what this series has grown into and I am so excited for WINTER!!! YAY! (REVIEW)
The One Thing by Marci Lyn Curtis – You Need To Read This Right Now!!!!! OKAY??! Absolutely fantastic! (REVIEW)
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell – I was so looking forward to this book and I wasn’t disappointed! This book has everything we love about a Rainbow book, but with a Harry Potter vibe! AS IF THAT DOESN’T SOUND AWESOME! (REVIEW)
Zeroes (Zeroes #1) by Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lanagan & Deborah Biancotti – Such a unique take on a superhero novel! I’m so excited to see where this series is going to go! (REVIEW)
The Scorpion Rules (Prisoners of Peace #1) by Erin Bow – This wasn’t a bad book per say, it’s just that I had HUGE expectations for this book and it didn’t really deliver. The main character is completely forgettable and the plot feels really confused. The ending, however, really got me excited to see where this series is going. (REVIEW)
Goodreads Reading Challenge: 79/52 (152%) I’m thinking about making my goal for next year 100 books. Sounds massive to me, but since I read so much this year without really trying I think I’ll be able to do it no problem. (P.S. With the new Goodreads update, does anyone know how you now get to that page that has all your read books for the year and the star rating? It looks like a one-it’s-side bar graph? Because for the life of me I couldn’t find it! Thanks.)
Pages read: 2,863 this month | 28,835 this year
October TBR: 4/10 – Let’s not talk about how much I sucked
