Month in Review: June 2015

month in review

Books I’ve read this month:

16096824 (3)22749511 16248113  16150831

Goodread challenge progress: 32/52 Books (62%)

Pages read: 1636 this month. 11149 this year.

Favourite book of the month: Out of only the 4 books I read this month two of them have quickly made it onto my favouritre books of the year (so far) list – A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass and In The Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken. They were both so flipping good! ACOTAR is an amazing first book to a serious and In The Afterlight is the without a doubt the best serious concluding book I have ever read.

Any disappointing books? The whole idea behind The School for Good and Evil was so clever and intriguing but the actually book was pretty dismal.

Books I’ve added to my TBR: I’ve only added 45 new books to my TBR – that’s pretty good! Look at me practicing restraint!

Progress on my 2015 reading Goals: I think I’ve pretty much given up on the reading goals

Updates on my life:

So this is my first month back at blogging after my slump and I’m remembering why I liked it so much. I’m currently on holidays until the end of July, but it’s to cold to do anything really exciting, so I’m mostly just working – but that also means I have plenty of time to read! I get my results back from exams next week and I’m tentatively sure I did okay so YAY!
