As usual Top Ten Tuesday, my favourite meme of the week is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
This week’s topic is a bit of a special one and is applauding the fact this great meme has now surpassed it’s 5 year anniversary, in honour of that this week’s theme is My Top Ten Favourite TTT Topics We’ve Ever Done. Now I’m pretty sure that if I added all the TTT I’ve done up there would probably only be like 10 so instead I’m going to have a scan of the past topics and pick 10 which I think would have been great to do.
No. 35. Favourite Love Stories – I would have loved to write about all my favourite couples and there perfect aspirational relationships.
No. 146. That Feature Travel – I love reading books where the protagonist gets to travel the world and see place’s I’ve dreamed of going (I love it even more if they get to fall in love with some hot foreign guy).
No. 62. Books You Loved But Never Wrote a Review For – there are so many books I’ve read that deserve to have raving flailing reviews written about them, unfortunately I just haven’t gotten around to it.
No. 84. You’d Hand To Someone Who Says They Don’t Like to Read – There are so many books that if these people read they’d suddenly just get why the rest of us love reading.
No. 72. I Had VERY Strong Emotions About – I can think of a couple of books that if someone bad mouthed I’d struggle not to throw all the reasons they’re wrong at them.
No. 21. Most Unfortunate Character Names – I love unique character names, its fun that in books authors can call characters pretty much whatever they please, but a couple of times I can think of the names have just been a bit to wacky.
No. 140. WOW Endings – I love an ending that shocks me – it may make me infuriatingly mad or laughing with happiness but it always stays with me.
No. 105. Most Vivid Book Worlds/Settings – I love good world building – it’s the foundation to falling in love with a fictional world and its inhabitants. Why do you think we all want to go to Hogwarts? It’s because J.K is a goddess at world building.
No. 43. Books You Want To See Made Into A Movie – I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, The Huger Games and Divergent series will both be over soon, same with Maze Runner, which means that They’re (the powers that be) will be looking for the new big thing and BOY could I give them an AMAZING list!
No. 18. Fictional Crushes – I HAVE SO MANY BOOK BOYFRIENDS. I would have loved to do this one. I would have needed a top thirty but I would have loved doing it.
Some of these topics are so good, it makes me want to write the lists anyways.
