Exciting News: The Bookish People

The other day while sitting in my Ethical and Professional Issues in Counselling lecture (exciting stuff, I know) I received an email. And not just an email notifying me that something happened on WordPress or literally every other website / company with my email, but a personal email. I know I can’t be the only one who get unnecessarily excited when receiving mail or emails that are actually for me, not marketing or a new bill. However, the context of the email was really the exciting part.

Alyssa, at Reading, reading, READING! Was interested in knowing if I’d want to be involved in a collaboration blog with her and 6 other bloggers. She explained to me that we each have one post per week on that week’s topic, which would go up on our allotted days. I said yes of course!! (Otherwise, truthfully, this post would be going nowhere).

This collab blog is Alyssa brain child and she has put in a lot of work to create it and I’m thankful to her for thinking of me. I’m part of the first group of bloggers to be involved in this blog. We’re going to be posting from the start of April to the end of July and then another group of bloggers will take over.

So I guess you’re all wondering what the blogs called…

The Bookish People

Pretty perfect really. We are people who are bookish. Haha! You all should go over and follow the blog, the first week are introduction post so you’ll be able to get to know the bloggers a bit better.

So now for all the great bloggers I’ll be blogging with – a lot of these blogs are new to me but I can’t wait to end up loving them!

This is going to be so much fun and I’m glad I can be a part of it!
